Sports Betting Wisdom: Any To Come Bets And You

What is this thing called “Any To Come” bet anyway? Also referred to by some in the sports betting industry as the conditional bet, it’s a sort of multi-stage bet. That is, if a part of a bet turns out to be a winner, then a predetermined amount of the original stake will be wagered on one or more selections.

Here, take a look at this example and you will get it right away. Suppose you place a bet on two separate selections of two single bets. If in fact, your first selection turns out to be a winner, then the original stake is then placed as a single bet on the second selection.

Now here is where it gets interesting. If in fact you end up winning both selections, each original stake is then placed as a single bet on the other selection. This has the effect of giving you twice the winnings for just a single stake unit. On the other hand, if both selections end up as losers, you’re done, both stakes are lost.

Any to Come bets come in a variety of shapes and formats. Here a few you may want to pay attention to:

Round Robin is a bet on three selections of 10 separate bets. There are 3 doubles, 1 triple and 3 of what are called up and down bets. An up and down bet is each of 2 separate bets. Note that a win in one selection guarantees you a return.

Another type of any to come bet is called the Flag. The flag is a bet on four selections. With the flag, there 23 separate bets consisting of 6 doubles, 4 triples, 1 four-fold and 6 up and down bets. One again, a win in one selection guarantees a return for you.

Finally, as if the flag wasn’t enough, there is the Super Flag. Just like it sounds, the Super Flag expands the Flag bet. You end up with 46 separate bets consisting of 10 doubles, 10 triples, 5 four-folds and 10 up and down bets.

As you can see, the any to come bet can look a bit complex from the outside. Yet, once you have seen the details as explained above, you can use them when you they make sense for you.
